Post-Pandemic Uncertainty: A Snapshot of Colorado Nonprofits in Mid-2024

This report provides a snapshot of the position of Colorado nonprofits in the summer of 2024, between the acute impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic and the coming effects of executive orders and other actions by the second Trump Administration. Specifically, the report presents the challenges facing Colorado’s nonprofit sector as a whole, as well as the primary issues encountered by individual nonprofits. The findings provide an important baseline understanding of the needs, capacities, and priorities nonprofits navigated in 2024 and how those factors shape organizations’ responses to the challenges of 2025 and beyond.
